Job Description

We are working on behalf of Paddy Power Betfair in Clonskeagh, Dublin to identify suitable individuals for a new position in their 'Financial Crime' function titled 'Corporate Client Lifecycle Manager'.

The purpose of the Financial Crime function is to support, advise and enable the compliant delivery of the Group’s strategic objectives across its Paddy Power and Betfair brands in Europe whilst also working in collaboration with Financial Crime Compliance colleagues in our other global brands.

The Corporate Client Onboarding Manager is responsible for onboarding new non-personal accounts and performing periodic reviews in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations or as set by internal policies and procedures. They will undertake due diligence to understand the AML risks and ensure that appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) requirements and other due diligence information are obtained and maintained in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.

More specifically the candidate will undertake a key advisory and guidance role within the team, also working closely with our commercial team regarding the efficient onboarding of more complex clients along with ongoing management of these relationships in a compliant fashion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Providing proactive and professional advice and support to the business with a particular focus on non-personal / B2B relationships.
Completion of due diligence on new and existing accounts to ensure compliance with AML/KYC policies.
Keeping abreast of Financial Crime related legislative obligations in the jurisdictions in which PPB is licensed to operate and ensure that the associated policies and procedures are in place to discharge these requirements.
Acting as the key internal stakeholder for any external reviews commissioned by PPB on the compliance frameworks within our partners
Proactively resolving ad-hoc queries related to complex aspects of AML analysis or onboarding requirements and acting as a subject matter expert. Guiding the team on more complex arrangements including how to discharge our responsibilities in higher-risk jurisdictions.
Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with our Corporate clients to facilitate accurate and efficient onboarding processes.
Performing periodic reviews of higher-risk accounts as required by onboarding policies including refreshes as needed.
Preparing reports and management information for the Leadership Team as required
Working with colleagues in other geographical locations in the Group to enable the development of global standards, knowledge transfer and best practice.

Candidate Requirements

Educated to degree level, postgraduate qualification in Compliance or related field desirable.
Minimum of 5 years AML and / or Regulatory risk experience in financial services environments.
Proven experience in completing customer and enhanced due diligence reviews for high risk or complex KYC cases.
An interest / working knowledge of bookmaking is preferred, but not a pre-requisite.
Knowledge of European Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Anti-Bribery and Corruption legislation, regulation and practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate required to travel occasionally.
