Job Description

Our client, a Top 10 firm is looking for an Audit Manager to join their team. Located in South Dublin this mid tier firm is unique in that it is completely merged with their UK Group; because of this they have excellent training standards and programs which strictly follow a Big 4 style. Duties include:

• Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations;
• managing a large and varied portfolio of clients;
• supervise and train junior members of the team
• prepare and present business tenders in order to develop and grow your client portfolio;
• working capital management – manage work in progress and billings;
• client fee negotiation;
• take full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of the audit team; and
• cross-business unit liaison with other teams such as tax, advisory etc.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Strong technical skills
• ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines;
• ability to make professional judgments based on findings;
• portfolio management experience;


This role would be ideal for someone currently working at Assistant Manager level to take the next step in their career, or for a Manager level candidate in a smaller practice with the desire to move to a large firm.
