Job Description

Origon is a specialist recruitment business and we have been engaged to recruit a Financial Reporting Senior for our clients Audit & Assurance Financial Services Department. Our Client, one of the Top 10 firms in Ireland is located in Dublin City Centre. The candidate will be working within a team on a Financial Reporting project for approximately 7 months of the year; the remainder of the year will be spent carrying out work with audit clients.

Duties:

Supervising junior members- reviewing their work, and managing the delivery of multiple assignments during the course of this specific financial reporting project.
Leading client relationship management and playing an active role in the overall management of the project.
Responsible for working to deadlines and within budgets on each assignment
Coach other less experienced staff through sharing experience and knowledge appropriately.
Provide training to the team
Advising on financial reporting report matters.

Requirements:

Qualified accountant with financial services experience in a medium / large practice environment
Experience working on large assignments
Experience working with IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP
Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships
Strong technical background
